Fernando and Nicole have been married for 10 years and are the proud parents of three daughters.
With a professional background as an attorney in Mexico and as a real estate professional in Arizona, Fernando began his vocational ministry work in 2015. Since then, he had dedicated himself to teaching, leading, and building various ministries. Over the past six years, through his work with youth, young adults, and diverse church communities, God has been equipping Fernando to step into the calling of planting a new church.
Fernando is passionate about helping people discover their true identity in Christ and step boldly into their God-given purpose. As the Lead Pastor of Social Church, he is committed to preaching God’s Word and building a church that transforms lives and communities through the power of the Gospel.
Together with Nicole, Fernando is excited to see God move through Social Church as a vibrant, life-giving community where faith and connection thrive.
Because we believe that church should be more than a place you attend —it should be a community where you belong, grow, and thrive. In a world that feels increasingly disconnected, people are searching for real relationships, authentic hope, and a deeper purpose.
Social Church exists to be a life-giving space where faith meets everyday life. We are passionate about building a church that speaks to today’s generation —a place where people can encounter Jesus, build genuine relationships, and find their unique role in God’s story.
Our mission is simple: to build relationships that point people to Jesus.
We believe that through love, a life-giving community, and the power of the Gospel, Social Church will be a catalyst for transformation, creating a ripple effect of hope that reaches far beyond its walls.
Because everyone needs a place to belong, a story to share, and a Savior who redeems it all —that’s why we’re planting Social Church.
We exist to build relationships that point people to Jesus.
We are committed to:
Celebrate: worship is both our adoration of God, as well as the proclamation of our faith. It prases him and edifies others.
Commission: discipleship requires daily discipline: listening to the Holy Spirit and learning the Word of God.
Community: life is meant to be lived through relationships, not isolations; both with God and with others.
Calling: Everyone is called to ministry, to evangelize wherever God has placed them. The church grows through investment and invitation.
We believe there is one true, holy God, eternally existing in three persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—each of whom possesses equally all the attributes of deity and the characteristics of personality.
Jesus Christ is the eternal second person of the Trinity through whose work and person God has achieved His redemptive purpose of reconciling all creation with Himself.
The Holy Spirit is one with God the Father and Jesus Christ. Those who accept Christ as their Savior will receive the Holy Spirit to live inside them. The Holy Spirit serve as our comforter, guide, and advocate.
Our foundation is based firmly upon the Bible as our ultimate authority on Christian beliefs and a guide to living. The Bible is divinely inspired by God, without error, give to man so that we may know and understand the truth of God and his love.
Salvation is not something that can be purchased or earned. It is a free gift from God provided by Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross and is received through faith. The central purpose of God’s revelation in the Bible is to call all people into fellowship with Himself.
People are made in the spiritual image of God, to be like Him in character and purpose.
